Aftercare

■ Immediately after treatment

After the tattooing procedure, gauze is applied to the carved area.
Depending on the size and location of the tattoo, remove the gauze 2 to 4 hours after the treatment.

■ On the day of treatment

If possible, wash off the blood and ink remaining on the carved area with a lukewarm shower for about a week after the treatment, or at least on the day of the treatment.
Do not use body soap, I prefer medicated soap.
After gently wiping off the moisture with a towel, apply an appropriate amount of ointment (After Inked. Vaseline, Oronine, etc.) on the tattoo.

■ 2-3 days after treatment

Please refrain from alcohol, strenuous exercise, and pressure on the carved area for 2-3 days after the treatment.

In addition, the ink and body fluids may flow out for several days after the treatment, so please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
If you are at work and can't stand the dirt, apply a wrap and remove it as soon as you get home.

■ 4-5 days after treatment

Depending on your constitution, scabs will form 3-5 days after the treatment.
Do not remove or scratch the scab; wait a week or two for it to fall off on its own.
Forcibly removing the tattoo may cause discoloration of the tattoo or suppuration of the skin.

■ 1 month after treatment

Do not use sunscreen for about a month after the treatment, and cover the tattoo with clothes to prevent sunburn.
Also, avoid places where your body is immersed in water, such as hot springs, saunas, and swimming pools.

As long as you follow these points, you can leave the rest to the natural healing power of your body.

 2 months after treatment

What do you usually do?

After about a month, the tattoo will settle into your skin and become like a part of your skin.
Basically, no follow-up care is necessary, but using a protective cream is effective in keeping your precious tattoo clean and beautiful for a long time. Just be careful not to get a sunburn.
After a month, you don't have to cover it up with clothes, but you should still wear sunscreen.
